Foreign Investors Council

The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) is a non-profit business association, representing the interests of foreign businesses in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Council was established in August 2006, and was formally registered in December 2006.  The FIC's mission is to boost cooperation among all investors in order to be a driving force of change in the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The FIC's main objectives are the following:

1. to improve the investment and business development climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
2. to represent and advance the shared opinions of its members;
3. to promote a common interest and to stimulate foreign direct investment;
4. to promote communication and cooperation between the Council and the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina; 
5. to inform its members regarding the investment climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina; and
6. to link with other foreign investor organizations across the South Eastern Europe region.

Triland Development is a founding member of the FIC and Tie Sosnowski is honored to be elected and to serve as its current President.  Sosnowski believes the FIC has been a catalyst to positively influence the local business climate in the past year and can play a major role in the future positive economic growth of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  He feels the entire business community "needs to voice its opinion and to continue supporting the recent positive economic decisions made by the current government leaders."
